this week in my life

I had the week off work from one of my jobs at a nursery and this blog tells you what I got up to. My dad slipped over on a plastic wallet that was left on the ground and he hurt his knee badly. On Monday, he and my mum went to A&E and they found out that he got tissue/ligament damage and bleeding in his knee. He had to take the week off work and be on strong painkillers
On Monday I also went into town with my sister and I brought a Polaroid camera that I have been wanting for a while. It is raspberry coloured and it cost me £59.99 from John Lewis.

I had a few errands to do for my mum and the weather wasn't in my favour as it was raining, typical British weather! and then went to my sisters flat in town and stayed for a while watching family guy, which I love.

On Tuesday, I stayed at home and have a relaxing day and didn't do anything interesting.
On Wednesday I went to see Beauty and the Beast in the cinema with my sister and friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie as I love Disney and I loved the original animated version and all the songs I can't stop singing. I thought all the actors/actresses did an amazing job. Emma Watson surprised me the most as I never knew she could sing and her voice is amazing.

On Thursday I went to work at a children's centre, I work there once a week. I enjoy working with children and that is what I want to do as a career.

On Friday, I went into town with my mum and met my sister. We ate at McDonalds, I have a gluten intolerance so, I brought gluten free burger buns from M&S and ordered a burger without a bun at McDonalds. It is a cheap way to eat out if you have a gluten intolerance as other places can be expensive to cook gluten free meals.
I went clothes shopping and brought a cute top from New Look for £9.99

I also brought two tops from H&M for £5.99 each

On Saturday, I went to the gym with a friend, the first time I had ever been to one. We went to the YMCA in Cambridge and it was £5 for as long as you want. We spent 30 minutes in the gym and had 15 minutes on a cardio machine, I don't know the name of it but you use your arms and legs, i Know that doesn't help! We also spent 15 minutes on a treadmill power walking.
I went back to my friends house and she had been given a signed Olly Murs postcard as she sent him a letter for free tickets and he responded with a signed postcard. I love Olly Murs, so she gave it to me and it made my day! I was so happy.

As you know Sunday was mothers day in the UK and I got my mum a £20 Hobbycraft gift card. She loved it because mum loves card making, knitting and other crafty things. I made lunch for everyone and washed up since it was mothers day I gave mum the day off from household chores.

I hope you all enjoyed, see you soon

My trip to Madame Tussaud's London

I recently went to Madame Tussaud's London and I had a great time. I would recommend it to anyone who likes looking at celebrities. I went with my uncle, we got there at 9 am and it was packed! We spent a couple of hours there and I loved seeing all the celebrities and seeing which waxworks looked most like their celebrity. There are different sections when you go in: party, bollywood, music, sport, royals, culture and world leaders.
Here are some photos I took of the waxworks and me.

Robert Patterson
He was the first waxwork I  saw when I went in and I loved him in Harry Potter as Cedric Diggory.

Katniss Everdeen
I am a fan of the Hunger games and when I saw Katniss Everdeen I fangirled and I had to have a photo.

The royal family

I saw this and had to take a photo, the waxworks are very good and look like the royal family.

One Direction
One Direction are one of my favourite bands. I saw them back in 2013 when they first came to Madame Tussaud's and I saw them again. I had to have another photo with my favourite member, Niall Horan.

Freddie Mercury

I had to have a photo of Freddie Mercury as he is an iconic person and I like queen's music.
The beatles
The beatles are an iconic band and I had to have a photo with them and I enjoy some of their music
Emma Watson
I love Emma Watson and is one of my favourite actress'. She does an amazing job in Harry Potter. I was only disappointed that it wasn't the real Emma Watson. She is an inspiration to me and I have looked up to her playing Hermione and I always wanted to be her.
Leonardo DiCaprio
I love him in Titanic and I had to take a photo of him. I can't believe he has only won 1 Oscar in his life.

Morgan Freeman
Morgan Freeman is an amazing actor and I wouldn't mind if he narrated my life!
Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict Cumberbatch is one of my favourite actors. I love him in Sherlock and I would love to meet him in real life and tell him how much I admire him.

After you see the waxworks, there is a Sherlock Holmes live performance where you look for Sherlock. It is £5 per person and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a London ride where you ride a London taxi, a 4D Marvel film and there was also a star wars exhibition at the end, I didn't enjoy but if you like star wars you will.

I had a great time at Madame Tussaud's and I would recommend it to anyone. The tickets are a bit expensive for anyone on a low income. They are £29 per adult and £24 per child and you pay for anything else.

What's been happening in my life?
