Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big fan of Harry Potter, I always wear my Gryffindor scarf when it's cold and I own a few bits of merchandise, so it will come to no shock that I went to the Harry Potter tour in London with my best friend. We had a fantastic time and I would recommend it to anyone who likes the films/book series.
I will show photographs of my time at the tour and say what I liked about each bit. I went
on the 6th January, they still had their Christmas decorations around but no snow unfortunately.

When you take your first steps into the tour, you have to queue in English fashion. While you are queuing there are already a few props and sets, as you can see above.

The tour guide takes you through the great hall, the actual one they use in the films. I was shocked that I was walking down the same set the actors/actresses used! They have the uniforms for the 4 houses and the teachers are at the head of the great hall by the teachers table. I didn't think they used the house points hourglass at all in the films because I never noticed it, but they did and I was really happy when I saw it as it is used in the books.

You come out of the great hall and you can go around the tour at your own speed and spend as long as you want looking at the props and sets. The food on the table is not real as it would keep melting and go off. I loved Hermione's dress, but I wish they made it blue as it was in the book.

All these colourful dresses, I can definitely tell which ones are Luna's! (I'll give you a clue, she likes bright colours and frills.)

I tried some butterbeer, At first I thought it tasted a bit strange, but as I drank more I started to like it.
Me and my best friend was learning how to do spells and how to move your wand in the right way to make different spells as you can see in the pictures above.
I am now on my way to Hogwarts! See you next year!

As I was going round the tour, I couldn't believe that all the sets/props are the real ones they used for the 8 films. The sets look much smaller in person compared to the perspective of what they look like on film. The sets are very close to each other and I'm not surprised if the actors/actresses got confused walking in to different sets all the time.
Overall, I had an amazing day and I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Harry Potter. It is a fantastic day out for everyone, but the tickets are a bit expensive, £39.00 for one person. Butterbeer is £3.95 for a regular plastic cup. If you have a photo taken of you, it is £14.00 for one photo and £7.00 after that.
I hope you all enjoyed, see you soon
